A strong brand identity helps businesses build recognition, establish credibility, and communicate their value consistently. My branding services include research, strategy, logo design, typography, color palettes, brand messaging, and visual guidelines that work together to create a cohesive and memorable brand experience.

The Process

From start to finish, my process is designed to understand you and your business, then use that knowledge to clarify your message, attract your target audience, and craft a brand that represents you in the best light. The project begins with client and competitor research. As part of the discovery phase, I put together a mood board capturing the look and feel you want to convey – imagery, font directions, color palettes, and more – to make sure we’re aligned before any design work begins.

With a clear direction established, I craft your brand story and define your brand words — the language that shapes how your business communicates and how you want people to feel when they encounter your brand. These become the foundation everything else is built on.

I’ll develop two logo concepts for you to review, each informed by the research and brand foundation we’ve established. Once you’ve selected the direction that best represents your vision, we refine that concept together through up to two to three rounds of revisions until it’s just right. Your logo mark also doubles as your favicon – your small but recognizable presence in browser tabs.

Once the logo is approved, I build out a complete set of logo versions and file formats for both digital and print use. You’ll receive a brand style guide covering logo usage, recommended typography, color palette, and curated brand photography that fits your aesthetic. To bring it all to life, I also include example mockups and an Instagram mockup showing what your brand could look like in the real world — giving you a clear, inspiring vision of your brand in action.

Timelines vary depending on the package — logo projects typically wrap up in 1–2 weeks, while a complete brand identity runs closer to 2-3 weeks or more depending on the scope involved.

As with any creative project, the pace is shaped by both sides — the work required at each phase, and how quickly feedback comes through on your end. When both are flowing smoothly, projects often finish ahead of schedule.

To kick things off, I’ll send you an in-depth Discovery Questionnaire to help me get a thorough understanding of you, your business, products and/or services, target market, goals, vision, style, and the scope of your project. This pre-work is an integral part of the process, and you’ll be able to save a copy of your answers for your own records.

From there, I’ll review your responses and put together a tailored proposal, along with a free 15-minute consultation so you can ask any questions about the project, timeline, and pricing.

For brand packages, I accept payments in installments of:

  • 50% deposit to secure your project.
  • 50% payment prior to delivery of final files.

We can certainly discuss what other design services you would like to have done, which are not included in the Brand Identity package, such as designing social media graphics and business cards.

At the start of the project, I’ll provide a clear overview of the process, including key milestones and an estimated timeline so you’ll know what to expect.

I prioritize open communication, collaboration, and timely responses, to keep things running smoothly. If anything on my end ever causes a delay, you’ll be the first to know. Transparency is part of how I work.
